接受這世界最糟的情形 Accept the World at its Worst

假使把這世界上最壞的情況交給你，你會如何處置呢？你只有在它還不是最糟時可以抱怨；假如已經糟糕透頂，那麼它就只能變好，而你們在此是要讓它變得更好。

吉姆：當事情再糟不過時，那麼就只剩時間和空間了。(笑聲)

佩蒂：當你認為人生是受苦時，那麼你就走向自己內在。

寶拉：那就像跑得喘不過氣時，然後你必須吸氣。

當你必須獨自承受一切，沒有任何人來幫你時，會怎樣呢？

有三個抉擇：

1. 感覺受挫和抱怨。


2. 感謝他人不幫忙，如此一切功勞才能算自己的。


3. 抱著感恩的心情，虔心祈禱，並明白你會獲得獨自處理所需的力量。「做為者」僅有一位。

新聞剪影：

古儒吉一行人閃電般地來到多明尼加，同時參加由教育部長和社會福利部長所籌劃的一個活動，之後前往聖‧路西亞島(St.Lucia)，加勒比海中的島嶼。在柯喇索島(Curacao，鄰近委內瑞拉)上，古儒吉受到外交禮賓式的接待，緊接著首次舉行的公開唱場座無虛席。瑪汀與朱醫師在巴拿馬，以及馬朱利在哥斯大黎加各為古儒吉舉行大型的唱場。來自香港的瑪奴在中南美洲地區四處安排課程。

故事一則：有天古儒吉和一些虔信者沿著海邊散步，看到一座造價數百萬高大的去鹹設施〈desalination plant，可將鹹水變為淡水〉。鄰近有一棵椰子樹。古儒吉指著那棵椰子樹說道那是天然的去鹹設施〈plant為植物，也是去鹹設施〉，自大地吸取鹹水而製造出椰子裡新鮮的椰汁。大師所帶來的知識就如同這棵椰子樹──它將我們在世間的鹹污泥變為至福的甘露。

這個旅程大大提升了生活的藝術在這區域的活動。古儒吉和他的教導現在傳遍整個加勒比海和中美洲地區。

085 ACCEPT THE WORLD AT ITS WORST

Suppose the worst of the world is given to you; what would you do with it now? You cannot complain if you get the worst. You can only complain if you don't get the worst. If the world is at its worst, then it can only get better and you are here to make it better.

Jim: When things are at their very worst, then there is only time and space. (Laughter)

Patty: When you see that life is suffering then you go within.

Paula: It is like running out of breath and you have to inhale.

What happens when you have to do it all by yourself -- no one comes to help? You do everything by yourself?

There are three options:

1. Frustration and complaining.


2. Take credit that you did it by yourself -- thank others for not helping so that you could take all the credit. (Laughter)


3. Be grateful, pray deeply, and know that you get all the energy needed to do it all alone. There is only one doer.

NEWS FLASH Guruji's party made a lightening tour to Dominica and there was a program organized by the cabinet minister for education and social welfare. The Satsang group met in the airport VIP lounge on the way back during a stop over in St. Lucia (a Caribbean island). There was a diplomatic reception in Curacao (another island near Venezuela) and a big Satsang. For the first public talk there was a full house. On to Panama, where Martine and Dr. Chu hosted a large Satsang and then Shirley was the copilot of the small plane that took the group to the Panama Canal. Manu, from Hong Kong, is organizing courses all over Central and South America. Marjorie and her team organized a packed house for a great talk in Costa Rica. This trip gave a huge boost to the spreading of the knowledge throughout the Caribbean and Central America.

Short story: Guruji was walking along the beach with some devotees and there was a huge desalination plant (changes salt water to fresh water) costing millions of dollars. Nearby was a coconut tree. Guruji looked and pointed out that the tree is a natural desalination plant. It takes the salt water from the earth and makes the fresh water inside the coconut. The knowledge is like the tree -- it takes us from salty mud to the pure bliss.
